Omoyele Sowore’s African Action Congress (AAC) has announced an alliance with Adulmajid Yakubu Daudu-led faction of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) yesterday ahead of 2023 general elections.
Daudu who was initially the interim national chairman of the party announced the breakaway in a briefing with journalists in Abuja.
Daudu called on Nigerians to unite behind their struggles to secure their rights to a better Nigeria and liberation from political slavery.
“I don’t need to tell you the hell we’re catching, this is a time and this is an option, now that we have the ballot, for the Nigerian masses, I call on all Nigerian masses to unite behind our struggles,” he said.
Receiving the party in Abuja, the presidential candidate of AAC, Omoyele Sowore said the alliance was a revolutionary coalition that will liberate Nigerians from their suffering.
