The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Atiku Abubakar, has met with the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike.
Atiku and Wike on Thursday met at the residence of a former Minister of Information and National Orientation and member of PDP BoT, Prof. Jerry Gana.
The meeting is signaling what observers believed were reconciliatory moves to pacify the governor.
A source said Thursday’s meeting was “positive”, and that there would be more “fence-mending” in the coming days, which is aimed at resolving the crisis in the party since the presidential primary in May.
