Bayelsa State Government as part of efforts to ensure fuel availability in the State and mitigate the suffering of motorists have purchased 410,000 liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS)
The Product arrived in Yenagoa in a barge from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Commissioner for Mineral Resources, Dr. Ebieri Jones appreciated the Governor, Douye Diri for being considerate in making petrol available to users.
He said the government would not allow people to turn all the streets into fuel black market spots.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Oil and Gas, Hon. Franklin Otele was also on hand to receive the product.
