Kano State High Court has sentenced school teacher Abdulmalik Tanko to death by hanging for kidnapped, torturing, and killing of a five-year-old pupil, Hanifa Abubakar.

Abdulmalik Muhammad Tanko, 38, and Hashimu Isyaku, 38, was sentenced to death by hanging by the Kano State High Court, presided over by Justice Usman Naabba, for the kidnapping and murder of Hanifa Abubakar, a five-year-old student.
Delivering the judgment, Justice Usman Na’abba also sentenced Fatima Musa to two years imprisonment.
