The kidnapped Sole Administrator of the Ideato North local government area of Imo State, Chris Ohizu, has been beheaded by unknown gunmen.
This came after his abductors had allegedly received a N6m ransom.
The council boss was kidnapped alongside two others on Friday after his country home at Imoko community in Arondizuogu area of the LGA was razed.
In a video posted on Ohizu WhatsApp status early Monday morning, the gunmen were seen beheading Ohizu at a yet-to-be-identified location.
Imo state Police command is yet to confirm or comment on the incident.
