Kenya’s Supreme Court upholds William Ruto’s Win in presidential election

Kenya’s Supreme Court has ruled in favour of William Ruto, stating that he was properly elected president of the country.

The court dismissed several petitions seeking to annul the 9 August election result.

Ruto, 55, will be sworn in as the country’s fifth president of Kenya next week.

Ruto’s Raila Odinga and others had alleged that massive fraud, including tampering with results forms, had taken place.
